How to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 from Windows Vista
Published by Steve
Since the series of Internet Explorer 7 beta releases were originally let loose onto the internet some time ago, alot of avid fans and long time users of Internet Explorer 6 have found that they’ve had a hard time adjusting to Microsoft’s latest internet browser and just not finding that they’ve been able to click with it. Fortunately Windows Vista offers a handy solution to completely removing Internet Explorer 7 from your computer system for good — or until you decide you want to give it a shot or upgrade to Internet Explorer 8, whenever that is released.
Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7
In order to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 from your system you must first close down any and all IE7 windows you might have open. Next, click your Windows Start button and click the Control Panel link:

From there, click on the Uninstall a program option nested within the Programs section.

You will then be brought to the Uninstall a program wizard which should — hopefully — pull up a list of each and every program you currently have installed on your system.

This doesn’t work. Since Internet Explorer 7 comes pre-packaged with Vista, It’s a little more integrated into the system than other programs… so it doesn’t show up on the list.
