Changing Your Windows Vista Desktop Wallpaper
Published by Steve
Fortunately for us, Windows Vista allows for us to change our desktop wallpaper in a multitude of ways; However, this guide will demonstrate how to change your wallpaper in one of the easiest ways I know how: Via the web. In this case, I will be selecting a lovely photo of my daughter, Jessica, from my very own online gallery and implementing her gorgeous mug into my Windows Vista environment.
Firstly, we need to select the image we want to use as our desktop background; And since I already have mine ready and I’m assuming you do too, we can progress to the next step. Simply right click on the image and scroll down the menu until you reach Set As Desktop Background…

After you inevitably reach the Set Desktop Background option, you will be given allowed to make a few choices as to how you would like your photo to display on your desktop. I’d personally recommend keeping the default settings simply because they are the best all-round. However, no changes you make will be all that major.

If you do decide you want to experiment though, you can set your image to Tiled from within the drop-down box in the upper-left corner of the menu and this will give you a nice repeated effect to your desktop background. Go ahead and see what sort of results you can come up with from photos of varying size. Good luck!
