I have an acer E380 running vista. since updating, my dvd r/w has vanished from my system.
I called acer who sent me a ling to delete some stuff via reg edit and rebooted.
This didnt work.
I have re installed O/S and the dvd is back again, but one it updates, the boot up menu is changed as the dvd is gone.
i have had to change menu so both read boot from hard disk, Any advice appreciated.
